[Ilovemyshape.com] Pho, or rice noodle soup, is very famous for Vietnamese food and reminds us of tasteful and flavorful soup topping with some slices of beef, chicken and many other ingredients. However, there is not only one version of Pho in Vietnam. In our Choe’s recipe today, let’s forget about the soup and try something new, a fry version of Pho: Fried puffed rice noodles.
- 500g flat rice noodles
- 200g beef
- A bunch of elongated mustard
- Some cloves of garlic
- 1 tomato
- 1 yellow onion
- Cooking oil, fish sauce, salt, soy sauce, sugar
Step 1: Cut each sheet of flat rice noodles into small squares 3×3.
Step 2: Heat a splash of cooking oil in a frying pan then fry small squares of flat rice noodles.
Step 3: Cook the rice noodles until they get yellow and crispy, placed the noodles on a dish.
Step 4: Fry minced garlic in a little oil before adding elongated mustard for stir-fry, keep the vegetable medium rare.
Step 5: Mix a little of soy sauce, salt and sugar with water in a small bowl.
Step 6: Fry minced garlic and ginger before adding sliced beef into the pan for stir fry.
Step 7: Adding mixture of soy sauce, then stir well to combine.
Step 8: Top the fried flat rice noodles with elongated mustard and beef and enjoy!
